Varun Rao

Varun Rao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Varun started their career as a Summer Intern at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in 2005. Varun then joined Tata Services Ltd. in 2006 as a TAS Manager, where they underwent intensive short-term engagements in various business functions. In 2007, they joined Tata Chemicals as a Manager, specializing in Business Development and Strategy. Varun was responsible for assessing new technologies, managing the stage-gate process, and developing an international patenting strategy. In 2011, they became a Senior Manager at Tata Chemicals, focusing on Business Development and Innovation.

In 2011, Varun moved to Voltas Limited, a TATA Enterprise, where they held several positions. Varun started as Head of Strategy Cell in the Energy Management Division, overseeing performance management and supporting strategic decision-making. Varun then became AGM in Corporate Planning, followed by Operations Manager in Product Sales. Varun'sfinal role at Voltas was Zonal Head, leading product sales efforts in the West zone.

Currently, Varun is working at Servify, where they have held multiple roles. Varun initially joined as General Manager in Strategy and Business Intelligence. Later, they became Director of Strategy, and is currently serving as Co-Owner and Senior Director of Business Strategy.

Throughout their career, Varun has demonstrated expertise in strategy development, business planning, and performance management. Varun has also showcased strong leadership skills, directing teams of engineers and workmen in executing complex projects.

Varun Rao completed their education in the following institutions:

- From 2004 to 2006, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they obtained a degree in PGDM.

- In 2005, they participated in a Student Exchange Program at the Asian Institute of Technology, focusing on management studies.

- From 2000 to 2004, they studied at Jadavpur University, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation & Electronics.

In addition to their academic achievements, Varun Rao obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in July 2016.
