From February 2011 to October 2013, they served as a Systems Support Specialist, managing on-premise infrastructure and corporate Active Directory. Prior to that, from March 2005 to February 2011, Shelby worked as a Business Solutions Field Engineer, providing networking consultations and managing installations for business customers.

Shelby's earliest work experience was at TigerDirect.com, where they worked as an A+ Technician from 2003 to 2005, repairing customer hardware and providing network setup support. Shelby also worked at Southwest Florida College as an Assistant IT Administrator from 2001 to 2003.

Throughout their career, Shelby's roles have involved various aspects of IT service management, process improvement, system architecture, and technical support.

Shelby Foister attended Southwest Florida College from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Network Engineering and Database Administration. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications from ServiceNow, including Partner Pre-sales Specialization: Customer Service Management, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Micro-Certification - Virtual Agent, Suite Certification - CSM Professional, Micro-Certification - Performance Analytics, Micro-Certification - Predictive Intelligence, and Certified Implementation Specialist - Customer Service Management. Shelby also holds certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator, Apple Certified Associate - Mac OSX Integration, Project Management Professional, ITILv3 Foundation, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Network+, and A+ Hardware / Software.
