David Fields

David Fields has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. David currently holds the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer at SES Space & Defense, where they have been since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the President and CEO from August 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining SES Space & Defense, Fields worked at Leonardo DRS from 2009 to 2022. During their time there, they held various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and General Manager, Vice President and General Manager, Vice President of Business Development, Strategy & Marketing, and Vice President of Strategic Solutions Development.

Fields also has experience at Signera, where they served as President from 2006 to 2015. David'searlier roles include positions at SES Americom Government Services, Verestar, ISD Integrated Systems Design, Inc., GTE Government Systems, Satellite Communication Systems, Inc., and GTE Government Systems.

Throughout their career, Fields has showcased their expertise and leadership skills in the fields of technology, communications, and defense.

David Fields attended The Mercersburg Academy from 1983 to 1985. From 1985 to 1989, they studied Electrical Engineering at Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in the field.
