Benoit Rougier

Benoit Rougier is currently a Spectrum Manager at SES Satellites, where they conduct technical studies on RF spectrum sharing involving satellites and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies. Previously, Benoit completed a doctorate in Electromagnetism and Shock Physics at Ecole Doctorale GEET and held various positions, including Engineer at the Agence nationale des fréquences (ANFR) and Doctorant at LAAS-CNRS. Their diverse background also includes experience in mechanical machining and numerical studies of aerospace materials. Benoit's research interests lie at the intersection of shock mechanics, electromagnetism, and instrumentation, which they aim to explore further in both research and industry settings.
