Chris Atherton

Chris Atherton is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Director of Solutions Engineering at O3b Networks since October 2014, also holding roles such as Director of Services for Maritime, LATAM, and Government, as well as involvement in Program Management. Prior to O3b, Chris Atherton worked at Harris CapRock Communications from November 2010 to September 2014, where responsibilities included Senior Program Manager for several significant transition projects and Director of Global Teleports and Baseband. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Operations Manager at Maritime Communications Services from December 2006 to November 2010, and a decade at Harris Corporation in various engineering roles. Chris Atherton holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Electromagnetics from the Florida Institute of Technology.
