Emil Ibrahim

Emil Ibrahim is an experienced technical leader in satellite communication systems, currently serving as the Director of System Engineering – Performance Optimisation at SES Satellites since May 2017. Emil manages a global team of experts to enhance customer experience through optimization, SLA management, and automation. As the highest technical authority over the O3bC constellation system, Emil ensures effective monitoring and support for service level agreements. Prior roles include Principal Engineer positions at O3b Networks, focusing on maximizing MEO and GEO fleet capabilities, and previous engineering roles at companies such as Intelcan Technosystems Inc., MDA Corporation, OmniGlobe Networks Inc., and Telesat Canada. Emil holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
