Eric Thompson

Eric Thompson possesses extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as the Analyst, Team Lead, and Trainer at SES Satellites since October 2014, where leadership includes managing a team providing 24/7 engineering support for a MEO satellite constellation. Prior roles include Systems Engineer II at Honeywell, focusing on satellite operations for Earth Observing Science spacecraft, and Space Systems Engineer at GB Tech, contributing to NASA's Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle project. Eric’s foundational experience includes verifying Space Shuttle flight software and leading software development during an engineering co-op. Eric holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
