Frederic Giraud

Frederic Giraud is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a strong background in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Space & Defence Sales Director at SES Satellites since January 2024, Giraud focuses on developing satcom business for defense markets, working with notable clients like Airbus and Thales. Previously, Giraud held significant roles such as Head of International Sales at Atos, where responsibilities included managing an export defense sales team, and Head of Sales & Marketing at Airtelis, leading initiatives in commercial heliborne and drone operations. With a comprehensive career spanning over two decades at renowned companies like Safran, Eurotradia International, and Airbus, Giraud has successfully driven business development, contract negotiations, and revenue generation across diverse regions including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Giraud holds an MBA from ISG Institut Supérieur de Gestion and has participated in a Management Development Program at SAFRAN in collaboration with Duke University.
