Gary Torrington

Gary Torrington is a seasoned Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer at SES, where they have worked since 2002 on various spacecraft programs, including the Space Shuttle Color Camera and Mars Global Surveyor. Prior to SES, Gary worked as an Assembler/Test Technician/Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin and as a Test Engineer at Iridium, contributing to the manufacturing of the Iridium satellite constellation. They also gained experience as a Quality Engineer at Southwest Microwave, where they successfully reduced customer returns. Gary specializes in momentum wheels, solar array dives, and complex multiphase electromechanical assemblies, boasting a strong background in quality and systems engineering.
