Gianluigi Morelli

Gianluigi Morelli is a highly experienced professional in the satellite operations domain, currently serving as the VP of Satellite Operations Software and Architecture at SES Satellites since April 2012. In this role, Gianluigi oversees the Software Engineering and Operations Architecture teams responsible for the development of the Ground Control System and automation tools for the SES fleet. Previously held positions include VP and General Manager of Operations Architecture at SES Engineering, as well as various engineering roles at SES Astra and Delphi Automotive Systems. Gianluigi's career began at the European Space Agency, where contributions were made in the Rendez-vous & Docking Section. Gianluigi holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze and a scientific maturity from Liceo Scientifico "Guido Castelnuovo."
