John Baughn

John Baughn currently serves as Chief Services Officer and EVP of Global Services for Data Networks at SES Satellites, a role undertaken since January 2015, focusing on the development of a new network data business unit that offers managed service solutions across various sectors including maritime, fixed data, energy, and aero. Prior to SES Satellites, John Baughn held the position of VP of Global Services at Ciena from November 2008 to December 2015, where responsibilities included regional and global managed services and consulting. Additionally, John Baughn gained experience in regional services and NOC leadership at Motorola Solutions from April 1992 to November 2008. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Warwick's Warwick Business School, earned between 2002 and 2005.
