John Lawrence is an experienced manager and engineer with a robust background in telecommunications and satellite communications. Currently serving as Manager of Field Services (Mobility) at SES Satellites, John has expertise in maritime MEO/GEO communications systems and is responsible for managing global maritime field engineering teams. John previously held roles at organizations such as Fortescue Metals Group, BTS Networks, and Harris CapRock Communications, contributing to site-wide communications, project management, and maintenance in various high-stakes environments, including autonomous mining and remote oil and gas operations.
