John Shaw

Lt Gen John Shaw (US Space Force, ret) has over 35 years of expertise in national security space and aerospace engineering. As a former Deputy Commander of US Space Command, John oversaw more than 12,000 personnel and a $525 million budget to protect the nation’s critical space capabilities. John held leadership roles in both the US Air Force and the US Space Force, including commanding the 14th Air Force and the Space Operations Command. John is currently an Independent Director on multiple boards, including Stoke Space and SES Satellites, and has a robust academic background with multiple degrees in technical and strategic management fields. John is also a noted public speaker and has authored works on space strategy.
