Jose Toscano

Jose Toscano currently serves as the Managing Director of Government Affairs at SES Satellites since July 2025. Prior to this role, Jose held several prominent positions at Intelsat, including Managing Director and Director of International Government Affairs and Asset Management from September 2017 to July 2025. Jose also served as the Director General at the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization from June 2003 to July 2017 and was the Director of International Affairs at Anacom - Portugal from July 1996 to June 2003. Earlier in his career, Jose was the Head of Sector at the European Commission from August 1987 to June 1996. Jose holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, obtained between 1975 and 1980.
