Michael Buchman

Michael Buchman is an accomplished technology and operations leader with over 26 years of experience in the commercial satellite communications industry, serving both commercial enterprises and government agencies. Currently, they are the Director of Operational Support Systems at SES Satellites, a role they have held since 2022. Previously, Michael worked as the Manager of Monitoring Systems Engineering at Intelsat from 2018 to 2022, and held multiple roles in operations management and systems support in earlier positions. Michael holds a B.S. in Telecommunications Management and Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology, where they graduated summa cum laude, as well as a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
