Omar Damar

Omar Damar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and technical solutions, currently serving as Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering at SES Satellites since January 2013. Omar has progressed through various roles within SES, showcasing expertise in technical solutions and ground systems engineering. Prior to SES, Omar worked at iDirect from January 2010 to January 2013, where responsibilities included supporting customer needs, leading installations and upgrades, and delivering technical training. Omar's career began at Talia Limited as NOC Manager, overseeing a team of engineers to manage multiple VSAT networks, and included entrepreneurship as the owner of ServiceNet, providing IT infrastructure and services. Omar holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Baghdad, earned between 1997 and 2002.
