Patrick van Niftrik has extensive experience in the aerospace and satellite communications industry, currently serving as Vice-President of Spectrum Management & Development EMEA at SES since February 2004. His career at SES includes roles such as Senior Manager of Spectrum Development, Senior Space Development Engineer, Sales Engineer, and Capacity Management Engineer. Prior to SES, Patrick worked as a Frequency Management Engineer at New Skies Satellites and as a Project Engineer at GMV, SA, where involvement included precise satellite orbit determination and satellite navigation projects such as EGNOS and Galileo. Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, obtained in December 1996, and completed secondary education at St Jans Lyceum in 1990.
