Petra Vorwig

Petra Vorwig currently serves as Vice President of Legal & Regulatory Affairs at SES Satellites since August 2021, following over a decade as Regulatory Counsel at SES, where responsibilities include overseeing a global export and sanctions compliance program and managing legal compliance in data protection and IT security. Additionally, Petra Vorwig was an Adjunct Professor of Space Law at Georgetown University Law Center from January 2010 to April 2013 and held legal positions at Steptoe & Johnson and Paul Weiss between 2003 and 2011. Early career experience includes working as an Analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence from 1998 to 2000. Petra Vorwig holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
