Stuart Cossar

Stuart Cossar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in satellite communications and system integration. Currently serving as Chief Engineer in Product Development at SES Satellites since May 2018, Stuart has held various senior engineering roles, including positions focused on terminal and RF engineering, and maritime systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer at SpeedCast and a tenure at Harris CapRock Communications, where Stuart engaged in new technology evaluation and deployment for major maritime clients such as Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean. Stuart holds a Master of Science in Computing with a focus on Software Technology and Network Management from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering with Communications from the University of Aberdeen. Key accomplishments involve developing product solutions for WAN optimization and creating standard customer offerings across markets.
