Yan Tay

Yan Tay is a Spectrum Engineer at SES Satellites, with experience since December 2019 that includes drafting proposals for the ITU World Radiocommunication Conference focused on Intersatellite Links and providing technical support on FCC Spectrum matters. Previous roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, where Yan designed cryogenically cooled gas targets and co-facilitated physics courses, and Academic Tutor at Acakid Tutoring, specializing in personalized math and science education for middle and high school students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Maryland, complemented by an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Montgomery College.
