Tom Spahn is a seasoned sound mixer and recording producer with extensive experience in the audio industry, contributing to a variety of prominent projects since 1978. As the owner of Tom Spahn, Spahn has specialized in mastering audio for film and television since 1982. Spahn is also active with the USO of Metropolitan New York, Inc. as a music producer, collaborating on performance tracks. Notably, work with Sesame Workshop includes production roles for iconic projects like "Big Bird Getting Ready For School" and the development of "Tickle Me Elmo." In addition, Spahn has held producer and music arranger positions with the Miss America Organization and served as a musical director for Eartha Kitt. Spahn's notable accolades include an Emmy Award for scoring work on ABC's "All My Children" and a Grammy nomination for mastering recordings from a State Department-sponsored tour featuring Dizzy Gillespie. Spahn holds a BS in Music from Park Forest Conservatory, focusing on piano and percussion.
