Debjani Deb

Debjani Deb has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Debjani currently serves as the CEO of Session AI, a position they have held since March 2015. Prior to this, Debjani was the Co-Founder and CEO of EmPower, which was later acquired by Genpact NYSE: G. Debjani held this role from November 2004 until January 2013.

Debjani also has experience as the Chief Strategy Officer at GCI Group from 2002 to 2004. Debjani served as the Director of Strategy at ONI Systems from 2002 to 2003 and at Mayan Networks from March 2000 to December 2001.

Before these positions, Debjani worked as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen & Hamilton from 1996 to 2000. Debjani began their career at AT&T Bell Laboratories as a Member of Technical Staff, where they worked from September 1991 until June 1995.

Debjani Deb completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, which they obtained between 1988 and 1991. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, attending from 1992 to 1993. Lastly, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management, which they completed between 1995 and 1997.
