Dr. Paul knew he wanted to change the medical industry since he was a teenager. The frustration of having an aloof doctor and a nerve impingement that went undiagnosed for years became his motivation to pursue a career in medicine. Paul was determined to become a “better kind of doctor” that is attentive and empathetic. He went on to train at the University of Wisconsin and the Harvard School of Public Health, and is now an Urgent Care and Primary Care Physician based at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Originally from Wisconsin, he now lives in Boston with his wife Kathleen and son Otto. He enjoys playing guitar, and is producing a documentary series called Safer Sets that explores the health and safety challenges of the entertainment industry.
