Marc Simard has extensive work experience, having worked for various companies such as Setori, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Blaise Transit, McKinsey & Company, Harvard University, Numida (YC W22), University of Waterloo, and Facebook. Marc started their career in 2012 as a Market Strategist at Facebook, then worked as a Summer Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in 2013. Next, they were employed as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo and joined McKinsey & Company again in 2014, working as a Business Analyst and later as an Associate until 2016. Marc then joined Numida (YC W22) as a Strategy and Analytics Consultant in 2017 before becoming an Ec10 Teaching Fellow at Harvard University and worked there until 2018. Marc rejoined McKinsey & Company again in 2018 as an Associate and worked as an Engagement Manager from 2019 to 2021. Later, in 2021 they served as Director of Operations at Blaise Transit and as a Tech Policy Fellow at Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Currently, they are the Co-Founder of Setori, starting from August 2022.

Marc Simard has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Marc also holds a Masters of Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School. No start or end dates for either education program were provided.
