Caroline Fleming

Caroline Fleming is a determined and self-motivated venture professional serving as the Director of the Surrey Innovation District, where they lead the strategic development and business engagement efforts focused on fostering innovation. With over 20 years of programme management experience and a background in engineering and applied management, they have successfully managed substantial budgets and supported numerous innovative companies. Caroline has held various significant roles, including during their time at the University of Surrey, Carbon Limiting Technologies, and The Carbon Trust, where they enabled the commercialisation of low carbon technologies and fostered entrepreneurship. They also actively contribute to the UKSPA as a board director and drive strategy for the SETsquared Partnership, representing the University of Surrey on multiple boards.
