Marty Reid

Marty Reid currently serves as Interim Executive Director at SETsquared Partnership since December 2022 and has held various leadership roles, including Non Executive Director at TechSPARK uk and Director at SETsquared Bristol. Prior experience includes Director of Engine Shed and CEO of the Science Research Foundation at the University of Bristol, and Centre Director at Future Space in Bristol, facilitating innovation and collaboration between tech entrepreneurs and researchers. Marty Reid's background in the aerospace industry includes strategic roles at Rolls-Royce as Strategy Manager, Account Manager for UK MOD & Industry, and Customer Service Manager for the European Region. Marty Reid began a career at Rolls-Royce through the Graduate Leadership Development Programme and has a strong educational foundation, holding an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics from the University of Strathclyde and participating in research exchanges at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and the University of Toronto.
