Yuchen Gu

Yuchen Gu is an experienced professional in the fields of hydrogen economy, sustainable transport, advanced materials, and manufacturing, currently serving as Sector Manager for Hydrogen and Sustainable Transport at SETsquared Partnership since November 2021. In previous roles, Yuchen has provided expertise as a Business Advisor for the ICURe Programme, facilitated the SETsquared Scale-Up Programme, and managed projects at Swansea University's STFC Regional Centre Wales. With a background in advanced materials research, Yuchen has also held positions as Project Officer at ASTUTE 2020, Research Associate at The University of Manchester, and PhD Researcher at the Electric Power Research Institute. Educational credentials include a PhD and MSc in Materials Science from Loughborough University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
