Shane Moriah has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shane is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Settle since October 2020. Prior to that, Shane worked at Affirm, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineering Manager from May 2016 to October 2020.
Before their role at Affirm, Inc., Shane took a sabbatical to indulge in world travel from February 2015 to May 2016.
Shane's entrepreneurial journey began in 2013 when they co-founded 6Sense, where they served as a Cofounder and Software Developer until January 2015. Prior to that, they co-founded GrepData in December 2012 and held multiple roles as a Software Developer, Program Manager, and Cofounder until September 2013.
In the earlier stages of their career, Shane worked at Hulu as a Technical Program Manager from June 2012 to December 2012, and as a Software Developer from September 2009 to June 2012.
Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as a Software Development Intern at Infosys Technologies Ltd from June 2008 to September 2008, where they designed and implemented fuzzy join algorithms optimizing real-time heterogeneous database joining and querying, leading to a publication in ACM conference proceedings.
In 2007, Shane worked as a Business Analyst at Ameriprise Financial from June 2007 to September 2007.
Shane Moriah attended Hopkins High School from 2001 to 2005. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2005 to 2009.
