Matthew Van Niekerk

Matthew Van Niekerk is the founder and CEO of SettleMint, a blockchain company that provides enterprise solutions for businesses. Matthew has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector, working in various management and consulting roles. Prior to SettleMint, they were the co-founder and architect of Bolero Crowdfunding, a European equity crowdfunding platform that won the EFMA innovation award for best new product or service in 2015. Matthew has also held positions at KBC Securities Bolero and KBC Consumer Finance.

Matthew Van Niekerk has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Western University and an MBA in International Business Management from Vlerick Business School. Matthew also has certifications in Blockchain Business Models and Transacting on the Blockchain from Coursera, and an Introduction to Blockchain Technologies certification from INSEAD.
