Roderik Van Der Veer

Roderik van der Veer is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in blockchain and digital transformation. As the Founder and CTO of SettleMint since August 2016, Roderik has been instrumental in facilitating the rapid development of blockchain applications for enterprises. Prior to this role, Roderik served as CTO at Databroker from December 2016 to March 2024, providing solutions for data trading. Roderik also founded Blockchain Vlaanderen in early 2016, focusing on the innovative potential of blockchain technology. Previously, Roderik held the position of Technology Director at Kunstmaan from October 2010 to September 2016, leading a cross-functional team in delivering advanced digital solutions. Roderik began their career as an IT project manager and developer at Smartlounge from September 2005 to September 2010. Roderik holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from UC Leuven-Limburg, earned from 2001 to 2005.
