Barry Johnson

Barry Johnson serves as the head of the Consumer Finance Practice Group at Settlepou, where involvement includes providing legal guidance to mortgage lenders in the United States regarding loan origination, regulatory compliance, and default issues. Prior to this role, Barry held the position of Shareholder at Barrett Burke Wilson and served as Vice President and General Counsel at Sunbelt National Mortgage Company, overseeing legal operations, litigation management, and mortgage transactions. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Science and Economics from Rhodes College.
