Laura Pickens

Laura Pickens is an experienced attorney currently working at SettlePou since June 2015, specializing in civil litigation with a focus on representing residential mortgage lenders, servicers, and financial institutions in both state and federal courts. Prior to this role, Laura served as a litigation associate at Gagnon, Peacock & Vereeke, P.C. from September 2012 to June 2015, where management of a busy caseload often exceeding 30 active cases was required. Laura holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature, German, and Liberal Arts honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
