Niles Madison

Niles Madison is the VP of Products at SettleTop, a role they have held since June 2020. Prior to that, they were with Synopsys Inc from January 2018 to October 2018, where they were Manager of Code Quality Audits and Solutions Architects for Black Duck On-Demand. In this role, they managed a team of software architecture consultants who provided customers with an overall quality assessment informed by use of a static analysis of the code, comparative analysis based on other code quality audit data, and an assessment of the processes used to create the code. Niles also oversaw all Black Duck On-Demand internal tools development, and revamped existing Code Quality Audit (CQA) service offerings from marketing materials, to process automation, to report deliverables.

From November 2018 to June 2020, Madison was Senior Manager, Black Duck On-Demand at Synopsys Inc. In this role, they designed and developed Spring/JavaScript applications for various customers to fill in specific organizational needs. Niles also automated the CQA report generation process by harnessing the REST API of the analysis tool. Additionally, Madison developed the Open Source Software Management Assessment (OSMA) process and deliverables, and automated quoting process, eliminating human error, inconsistencies and time delays.

Niles Madison attended Weston High School and then Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied telecommunications.
