Asmita Chatterjee

Asmita Chatterjee has been working in the field of finance since 2017. Asmita began their career as a Research Analyst with Dvara Research's Household Finance Initiative, where they conducted primary qualitative surveys across India to understand the mental models of finance and the role of financial products in people's day-to-day lives. Asmita also co-wrote and presented a paper analysing the balance sheets at the household level using NSSO data. In 2018, they moved to Dvara Holdings as a Product Manager. Currently, they are a Product Manager - Payments at Setu, a position they have held since 2022.

Asmita Chatterjee completed their Masters in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research in 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics in 2014. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Behavioural Economics in Action from University of Toronto in 2019, NISM XB: Investment Adviser Level 2 Certificate from National Institute of Securities Markets in 2019, NISM XA: Investment Adviser Level 1 from National Institute of Securities Markets in 2018, and NISM VA: Mutual Fund Distributor Certificate from National Institute of Securities Markets in 2018.
