Based in Bandol, France—the European benchmark for natural weathering—SEVAR (Société des Enceintes de Vieillissement Artificiel) has been at the forefront of material durability for over 60 years.

We specialize in analyzing how polymers, composites, and coatings withstand environmental stresses. Our unique expertise is built on two core pillars:

1. Testing Laboratory: Assessing material lifespan across various climates through our international network of exposure sites (Mediterranean, Tropical, and Mountainous).

2. Innovation & Manufacturing: Designing and building the ARTACC® range—next-generation accelerated weathering chambers that provide high-performance, compact, and cost-effective testing solutions for R&D laboratories worldwide.

From automotive and aerospace to building and agriculture, we help industries predict the future of their materials today.
