In honor of the Seven Women who have politically represented 48.9% of Papua New Guineas people since Independence in 1975 at a national level.
Today there is no Female representation in National Parliament.

Papua New Guinea has not progressed with gender equality and equity.
We have gone backwards in Independence and gender equality.

Papua New Guinea has a (Gender Inequality Index) GII value of 0.740, ranking it 161 out of 162 countries in the 2018 index. 
Together as Papua New Guineans and equality advocates around the world, we can change this.
