Johan Andersson

Johan Andersson's work experience includes a current role as CTO at Severalnines, where they are responsible for the development of ClusterControl, a product for managing and monitoring database systems such as Galera Clustering, MySQL Cluster, MySQL Replication, and MongoDB. Johan has also developed online configuration tools for these databases. Prior to Severalnines, Johan worked at Oracle as a Senior Manager and Principal Field Technologist, where they were the Cluster Practice Manager and built mission-critical databases and solutions. Johan received the award of Principal Field Technologist in July 2009. Before Oracle, Johan was an employee and later the Practice Manager at Oracle, as well as a Principal Consultant. Johan started their career as a SW Developer at Ericsson and also worked as a research assistant at Trinity College, Dublin.

Johan Andersson completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at Linköping University from 1994 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at Trinity College Dublin, specializing in Distributed Systems as a Research Assistant from 1999 to 2001.
