Robert Evans

Robert Evans has an extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Robert started their career in 1989 as a Junior Draughtsman at Billington Structures Ltd and later became a Quantity Surveyor there from 1990 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Severfield as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and held this position until 2002. Robert then progressed to become a Quantity Surveying Director from 2005 to 2011. Robert was promoted to Group Quantity Surveying Director from 2011 to 2014 and subsequently served as a Commercial Director from 2014 to 2020. Robert was then appointed as the Managing Director from 2020 to 2022, and currently holds the position of Divisional Managing Director at Severfield starting from March 2022.

Robert Evans has a BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying from The Nottingham Trent University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Robert also has a BTEC HNC in Building Studies from Barnsley College, which they completed from 1990 to 1992, and a BTEC ONC in Civil Engineering Studies from the same college, completed from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they completed a General Engineering Appreciation & Structural Steel Applications course at The Engineering Industry Training Board in Sheffield from 1988 to 1989. Robert Evans also holds a MIoD from the Institute of Directors from 2011 to 2016 and has attended the London Business School for the Senior Executive Programme since 2023.
