Steve A.

Steve A. has over 30 years of experience in IT infrastructure and information security roles. Steve is currently serving as the Vice President and Information Security Officer at Sevita since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President and Information Security Officer at The MENTOR Network from 2014 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of IT infrastructure and led the information security program. Steve also served as the Director of IT Infrastructure and the Director of IT Infrastructure and Information Security Officer at The MENTOR Network. Before that, Steve worked as the Director of Infrastructure Engineering at EBSCO Publishing from 2009 to 2012, managing a team of senior IT engineers and implementing improvements in infrastructure design and management. Steve was also the Director of Information Technology at ITA Software from 2008 to 2009, where they improved help desk metrics and streamlined IT processes. Steve started their career as the Director of Computer Systems & Networks at PSDI from 1984 to 1996, overseeing the IT department and managing the migration of systems and networks to a new facility. Overall, Steve A. has a strong background in IT infrastructure management and has made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Steve A. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the College of the Holy Cross in the years 1980 to 1984. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Boston University between 2003 and 2006. Steve also has additional certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and ITIL V3 Foundation in IT Service Management.
