Mike Chen

Mike Chen, CPA, currently serves as Associate Principal at BDC Capital, leading efforts in Growth Equity Partners with over $4.5 billion under management. Previously, Mike worked as an Associate at Sexton Group Ltd, where involvement includes acting as a Board Observer for the Sexton Family of Companies. Prior experience includes an Analyst role in Mining Finance at Macquarie Group and a Senior Associate position in Deals at PwC, alongside a progression from Associate to Teaching Assistant roles at UBC Sauder School of Business. Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours from The University of British Columbia and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, with CPA designation attained between 2018 and 2020.
