Barbara Rothenborg

Barbara Rothenborg is an accomplished film director with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as the Film Director at SF Studios since March 2022 and simultaneously directing for Nepenthe film since April 2017, Rothenborg has also held the role of Feature Film Director at Regner Grasten Film since January 2014, credited for the project "Krummerne - Alt på Spil." Previous work includes directing the TV series "Sjit Happens" for TV2 ZULU at Fridthjof Film and writing and directing notable feature films such as "Butterfly Tears" and "The First Time - Love at First Hiccup." Rothenborg's early career includes directing seven short films with award-winning festival entries and serving as a 1st Assistant Director in various productions. Education was completed at Frederiksberg Gymnasie from 1996 to 2000.
