Selena Pang is an experienced environmental scientist currently employed at the San Francisco Estuary Institute since February 2022. Prior to this role, Selena served as an Associate Planner at PBR Hawaii & Associates, Inc. from July 2015 to January 2022 and held the position of Urban Research Fellow/Student Assistant at the Yale Hixon Center for Urban Ecology from August 2013 to July 2015, where Selena conducted a hydrogeologic study on bioretention gardens. Additionally, Selena was a Remedial Project Manager with the State of Hawaii from June 2011 to June 2013, focusing on historical pesticide release sites. Earlier positions include an internship with EDAW | AECOM, teaching at the Asian University for Women, and various research roles at Furman University and the National Park Service. Selena holds a Master of Environmental Science in Coastal Resilience & Urban Water from the Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Carleton College.
