Véronique Ormezzano

Véronique Ormezzano is an independent expert in financial regulation, policy, sustainable finance, and corporate governance. Currently, they serve as an Independent Advisor and hold multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the European Financial Regulation Committee and Vice Chair of the Finance Committee at Business at OECD (BIAC). Véronique retired from BNP Paribas in January 2023 after over 40 years in the banking sector, where they played a critical role in regulatory affairs and crisis management during significant financial events. Their extensive experience includes leadership positions in portfolio management, investor relations, and risk management, alongside active collaborations with think tanks and industry associations to promote effective regulation and financial stability.
