Benoit Thuillier

Mobile Access Engineering Director at SFR

Benoit Thuillier has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Benoit started their career as a Planning Engineer at Suez in 1992. Benoit then moved on to Nortel, where they held various positions including Software Engineer for PBX, Sales Engineering Manager for Carrier TDM/VoIP, and Product Manager for GPRS/UMTS Data. In 2007, they joined SFR as a Network Solution Manager, responsible for driving mobile internet solutions. Benoit later became the Head of RAN System Architecture & Planning Team, overseeing product and technology introduction strategy in the RAN and RAN IP backhaul domains. Currently, Benoit Thuillier is the Mobile Access Engineering Director at SFR, leading a team of 50+ engineers and responsible for engineering, architecture, features, and validation.

Benoit Thuillier obtained an Engineer's degree in Electronics and Software from Polytech Sorbonne, where they studied from 1988 to 1991. Benoit also holds a Master's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pierre and Marie Curie University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor in 2020.
