SG International Marathon (“SGIMPL”) is a Private Limited Company formed and based in Singapore, for the purpose of organising Singapore’s National Marathon. 

A joint venture company by Betterment Sports (SG) and Score Sports (MY), SGIMPL was awarded the national contract of being Event Promoter by Event Owner Sport Singapore, a statutory board under the purview of Ministry of Community, Culture and Youth (“MCCY”) in 2025 via an open call tender.

Held annually on the first weekend of December since 1982, the event has gone through various named iterations. Since 2026, it is currently known as the BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas, with SGIMPL holding the full Rights for the event, including commercials, marketing, communications, operations and production. 

The event hosts multiple categories over 3 days, including Kids Dash, 5KM, 10KM, Half-Marathon and Marathon distances. The Marathon is also Southeast Asia’s only World Athletics ranked Gold Label race, while all other distances are course measured and certified by Association of International Marathon and Distance Races (“AIMS”). 

The BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas hosts over 52,000 participants annually.
