Walter Holbein

Walter Holbein, Ph.D., currently serves as Consulting Director at Sg2 since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in healthcare and physiology. Previously, Walter held the position of Business Group Director at Nonin Medical, Inc. from February 2015 to 2022, where responsibilities included oversight of Chronic Care Management with P&L ownership, regulatory and clinical management, and leading cross-functional research projects. Walter's earlier roles include Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic Rochester and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where a doctoral dissertation on autonomic regulation of the cardiovascular system in hypertension was completed. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Physiology from UT Health San Antonio and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Rutgers University.
