SGB leak prevention and detection systems will permanently monitor and actively prevent leaking of double-walled tanks and pipes. This is due to the pneumatic function principle (pressure/vacuum): Air or gas is applied in the interstitial space (gap between the inner and outer wall) and monitored with a leak detector. If there is a leak, the pressure in the interstitial space drops and an alarm is triggered. For the leak monitoring of pump sumps, manhole chambers and containments SGB offers a wide range of leakage probes. 
All SGB systems will give an alarm indication before any stored/conveyed product can enter the environment causing environmental pollution.
