SGH is a national Canadian interior design firm established in 1987. Independently owned and headquartered in Toronto, we operate studios in Vancouver and Halifax and support organizations across Canada.

Our work is grounded in a deep understanding of how people use space. We approach each project with a balance of design thinking and technical expertise, ensuring ideas are not only compelling, but achievable.

Our team specializes in workplace design, with experience spanning hospitality, retail, and residential environments. We create branded spaces that reflect the identity, culture, and goals of our clients, delivering environments that are functional, collaborative, and built to perform.

Led by Partners John Tanfield and Monika Sarkisian, SGH takes a hands on approach at every stage of the design process. Our leadership remains actively involved, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistency from concept through completion.
