Benjamin Serna, PE, GE, is a seasoned Geotechnical Director currently serving as the Technical Director at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger since 2025. They previously held the position of Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Gannett Fleming from 2018 to 2025 and worked as an Associate Engineer at Group Delta from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, Benjamin gained experience as a Senior Engineer at ENGEO from 2006 to 2014. Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
