Brian Phan

Brian Phan, P.E. is an experienced structural engineer currently serving as a Senior Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) since May 2015, with previous roles including Consulting Engineer and Project Consultant. Brian's earlier experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant in Mechanics of Materials at UC Davis and as a Structural Design Intern at Dokken Engineering, where responsibilities included reviewing design calculations and producing structural analyses for various bridge projects. Brian also served as the Pacific Steel Bridge Team Captain during tenure at the University of the Pacific, leading the team to notable competition placements.
